Duran Doğan Basım ve Ambalaj San. A.Ş. carries out its operations with the awareness of its responsibilities. We are aware that the continuity and efficiency of our operations can only be possible when these operations are continued in harmony with the environment.

By placing the sustainable production approach at the center of its business strategies, our company aims to permanently increase the value it creates for all its stakeholders, society, and the environment, by conducting its production activities in accordance with international sustainability standards and by becoming a competitive packaging company with sustainable profitability and development principles.

The basic principles that constitute the environmental policy of Duran Doğan Basım ve Ambalaj San. A.Ş. is as follows:

• To take proactive measures in all activities to prevent air, water, and soil pollution
• To make studies to ensure continuous improvement and development in environmental activities
• To comply with the environmental obligations of applicable national and international legal and other requirements
• To contribute to the environmental activities of non-governmental organizations, “for a sustainable environment.”
• To reduce costs, increase efficiency, and long-term profitability by working with suppliers based on cooperation and trust that will ensure quality, environment, business ethics, and occupational health and safety
• To evaluate the activities in the packaging sector in a systematic and regular manner and continuously move towards the better and the right
• To raise awareness of environmental responsibilities, provide training programs encouraging employees to adopt environmentally friendly practices, and actively contribute to the company’s sustainability goals.

In all projects carried out, from design to delivery, efforts are made to minimize the consumption of natural resources and energy, to prevent soil, air, and water pollution, and to recycle the maximum amount of waste generated with an environmentally friendly approach.
